The freedom bells ring so loud,
My heart beats fast amongst the crowd.
I walked out, no more shame,
I'm done playing a pointless game.
I've conquered the enemy, he has claimed defeat,
I stood my ground and didn't retreat.
Its amazing to see yourself brand new,
The days of old are gone and along come the true.
When you look back and see who I was,
Making me stronger is all it does.
Glimmers of hope emerge from the shadows deep,
Secrets of my past threaten and leap.
I get out of that place of dark fear,
The sound of victory is all I hear.
I don't have to be afraid anymore,
Oh to not have a clue what just might be in store,
