Something People Dont Know.

He doesn't know how much that hurt,
I can see pain hidden in his own eyes.
Trying not to reveal his fear so he covers them in lies.
I didn't see it coming, it came by surprise,
You think one thing is real life now,
But all your left is wondering just how,
He could seem so genuine in what he did believe,
In the end all he knew how to do was leave.
Maybe he can redeem the broken, shameful sin,
If he surrenders to Jesus he will for surely win.
Breaking down walls that were built at the start,
Layers of pain, sorrow and fear have trapped his heart.
He didn't know how to escape the prison he made,
The light within him didn't shine, it could only fade.
Seeking reconciliation to the devastation left behind,
All he wanted to do was find his peace of mind.
The next steps will be surrendering his pride,
At the very moment it happens within him the Holy Spirit will reside.
El Qanna is jealous for his loved one,
Even if that means everything they hold dear has to come undone.
There is a sweet beauty that comes from that broken place,
"Jesus, here I am on my face,
Please show me your mercy and grace.
I never want to follow the flesh down that path,
Separated from you I will find nothing but wrath.
Keep me near to you never to part,
I belong to you, your perfectly crafted piece of art."
